I had been posting some of this stuff in Flame Threads[/b] but since I'm not flaming at any of the members here maybe from now on I'm just going to rant, rave and flame in here. On the so-called 'alternative' news sites on-line we get to see the occasional flag draped coffin of another American casuality of this obscenity and I find myself thinking 'how nice at least they get buried with full military honors' [/b] -- although I seriously doubt that there is really any comfort in any of that -- and then I find myself thinking about the 10's of thousands of civilians, men, women and children in Iraq whose bodies just lie in the streets or buried under rubble without ever even having the dignity of a proper burial, and in some cases not a single family member left alive to mourn them. And even worse, for followers of Islam, to be left unburied, rotting and being eaten by DOGS, in a final cruel, heartless violation of their beliefs and their bodies. I happen to love dogs and cats and at the same time I can fully understand the Iraqi's beliefs and feelings about the unclean habits of dogs and then the thought of having the body of a loved one, first murdered, then left rotting in a street and being eaten by scavangers, including dogs, leaves me heartsick and disgusted at the actions of this country against the people of Iraq. Where is the outrage in this country?
