In this article, Clifford Kraus writes as though Canada's decision not to participate in the BOGUS NMD is a departure from " more than a half century of Canadian national security policy of sharing responsibility for continental defense with the United States, even in times when the two countries sharply disagreed on Cuba, Vietnam and most recently Iraq." There is not a word in the article about the fact that NMD is a bogus program, in fact is a cover for a more sinister weaponization of space, and a huge waste of money-- a total waste of money, if it is "defense" of the "continent" that is the goal. Krauss also writes that this could mean the death of NORAD. Well NORAD is already dead, having been superceded and replaced w/ the even more sinister Space Command, which isn't even about defense, as NORAD was, but is about pre-emptive war. There has also been nothing in his articles for the Times about the insults to Canada from the neocon US Ambassador, the former gov of Mass, Cellini, who accompanied Bush on the US-policy determining trip to Tel Aviv in 1998, where they got their policy instructions, which they continue to follow, from Ariel Sharon. NMD is a neocon program that emanates out of the Usraelis, and it was Martin's alliance w/ the neocons that caused confidence on their part that Martin would pull a Blair and betray his country for the sake of the Usraeli agenda. The Times is VERY scarey in terms of their blatant propaganda in foreign affairs.
