This video is 2 hours 22 minutes!! I had no luck watching this as a video stream. It would launch Windows Media Player, play about 45 minutes, and stop... reporting "buffering", but it would just go kaput from there. I tried to replay it and it did the same thing at the same place. (Mac OSX, IE5, WMP9)
The solution is to save it to your disk. It's 233.5 MBs-- so not dialup user friendly. Right-click the above link and choose save to disk. Then you can burn it to CD or DVD and give to friends, to be friendly towards this provider's bandwidth. If you have a peer-to-peer client (kazaa etc) installed, first search for a copy there. The probable file name is 911theroadtotyranny.asf. Once you download it, keep it in your peer-to-peer share folder, to help distribute the supply.
To watch in Full Screen, Windows users hit ALT-ENTER, Mac users CMD-4. Hit ESC to return to normal screen.
OSX users install Windows Media Player here.
Review:
I just watched this, so it's still got me rattled. I don't vouch for it 100%, as the producer/narrator Alex Jones throws out alot of VERY heavy conspiratorial/New World Order stuff. But as one whose mind is open thanks to already believing the worst about the truth of 9/11; Jones gives plenty to think about as to the intentions of the puppeteers behind the throne.
Among Jones' more "shocking" claims are that the intent of the NWO crowd includes reducing the world population by 80%, microchip implants in the population, a cashless society. He slams the role of the UN as seeking world guvmit. He claims there's no global warming, only a natural X00 year cycle. These and a few other frothy claims in this video, I'm presently skeptical of... but then again 3.5 years ago, I'd have been skeptical that we'd be where we are today.
Jones spends more time documenting the OKC Federal Building bombing as a federally staged attack (quite convincingly too) than he does 911-- which he skims over by comparison, taking for granted 911 was carried out by the feds. I'm already converted to this belief thanks to the wealth of information on the web which make the truth so plain (or at least debunks the official 911 story), but I can't say that an official 911 story true-believer would watch Jones' video and have their mind changed about the truth. The video focuses most on the "road to tyranny" part-- the creeping US police state as a consequence of these guvmit-staged "terrorist attacks" than it does on "proving" 911 was a federal/military-industrial-complex/NWO conspiracy. Maybe he figures the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Jones says the first WTC bombing was also the fed's work, though doesn't spend much time substantiating this claim. He spends most of time on the "police state creep" in America, documenting the sharp increase in domestic police/military joint training exercises, and itemizing all the evidence of the guvmit plans and procedures for the NWO future.
I'd have to watch it again and take notes to give more points. It's 142 minutes long, absolutely dense with information; news video, interviews and newspaper clips ostensibly "proving" his beliefs. I don't think Jones' tabloid tone and sensationalistic language help his case, but these shortcomings aside, he definately gives much to think about. The objective, "just the facts" tone of say, a PBS Frontline documentary would greatly improve this video's sales pitch appeal to the average, head-in-the-corporate-media-sand sheeple. Regardless, it's a compelling & gut wrenching watch- maybe too much so to watch in one sitting... since after all that depressing darkness re the NWO future, he suggests little by way of action to force a change of course.
It was about a 20 minute broadband download for me. So grab a copy, take a shot of rum or two, check it out, and review what you think here.
