10,000,000 Stepford Muslims

How many “counter-terror experts” does it take to screw in a light bulb?
It’s an old joke, usually with a xenophobic twist, but the point is here that “counter-terror experts” can’t even find the light bulbs, let alone the light socket or the room where the light bulb needs to go. Most of them are stumbling around in the dark, screaming: “Osama bin Kruger and al-katie’s gonna get you! Run! Hide! Stock up on duct tape and plastic sheeting!”
Yawn.
“The United States is losing the war on terrorism and faces an ‘inevitable’ al-Qaida attack with weapons of mass destruction that will be worse than 9-11, according to a counter-terror expert,” warns WorldNetDaily (again).
“All of the warnings we have today indicate that a major strike—something more horrible than anything we’ve seen before—is all but inevitable,” said Yossef Bodansky, former director of the U.S. Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, in an interview yesterday with the Jerusalem Post.
Incidentally, Bodansky has a book he wants to sell you.
Now that Arthur Hailey has passed over to the other side, we need another disaster fictionist to fill his shoes. Bodansky fits the ticket. He spins a fantastic yarn.
Consider:
Since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, Bodansky said, the number of people trained and willing to die has more than doubled to an estimated 500,000 to 750,000. Intelligences estimates say another 10 million are willing to support them actively while another 50 million would provide financial assistance. [The Israeli's , like the Nazis, are very much obsessed w/ the numbers of those it has designated as our enemy-- that is why they are killing schoolgirls]
I guess that beats the 40 million evangelical Christians who support what Bush is doing in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Give Bodansky a light bulb and put him to work. If there are 10 million terr’ists out there hankering to get us because they hate our freedoms, why the heck haven’t they struck, what’s holding them back?
It was our election, of course.
Even Muslim cave dwellers pay attention to elections in the United States.
Al-Qaida has not carried out a second major attack, Bodansky explained, because the first one sufficiently sent the message to the Islamic world that the U.S. could be penetrated, and a second attack necessarily would have to be more grandiose. … There has been a debate between bin Laden allies and some Islamic leaders over the propriety of such a large-scale [non-conventional weapons] attack on U.S. citizens, he told the Jerusalem paper. But, according to bin Laden’s mindset, that has been resolved by the American electorate backing Bush and thus “choosing” to be enemies of Islam.
Obviously, this Osama feller’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer, about on par with your run of the mill “counter-terror expert.” Of course, the “American electorate” didn’t choose anything, since they had nothing to choose from, a vote for John Kerry mirrored exactly a vote for Dubya the Destroyer. Maybe Osama agreed with Dick Cheney, who so famously said that a vote for Kerry was a vote for Osama.
Bin Laden’s theme has shifted since 9-11, Bodanksy said. Previously, perpetual confrontation and jihad against the U.S. was seen as the only way to protect Islam. Now, the emphasis is on punishing American society.
“Just as the West was challenging the quintessence of Islam by means of the globalization era, there was a parallel need by Islamic extremists to strike at—and hurt—the core of American society, this time with weapons of mass destruction,” Bodansky said.
In other words, it’s personal now.
Since you didn’t vote for Osama’s candidate, you’ll have to endure weapons of mass distraction, er destruction. Don’t say Osama didn’t warn you. He gave you a chance to do the right thing. Now ten million al-katie terr’ists will be sneaking over the Mexican border, suitcase nukes in hand, just in time for Christmas.
Oh, just to put things into perspective here, Bodansky made his apocalyptic comments at the second annual Jerusalem Summit[/color], an international gathering of “conservative thinkers,” according to the Jerusalem Post. Such “thinkers,” according to the Jerusalem Summit web page, include Richard Perle, Daniel Pipes, Alan Keyes, Cal Thomas, and Benjamin Netanyahu. Only such “thinkers” would buy into the idea—or expect you to buy into the idea—that there 750,000 al-katie types out there, just waiting for a green light from Osama to kill Americans.
Let’s call them Stepford Muslims.
