There will be no Macro-economic Reform. Our motto will be what it has always been in America:
From each according to his ability, to each according to his rank.

I can't BELIEVE anybody would be TRAITOR enough to vote for stonefruit! He's got a big ego! If you don't vote for jayberner we're going to be stuck with four more years of ropegun! Selfish ideological purists!

The terrible threat all God-fearing Americans face from the EVIL ONES demand nothing less than that each patriotic citizen should carry a tactical nuclear weapon! Given the long term success of the MAD strategy, who can doubt that a nation which is as thoroughly armed as old Tombstone, with each person secure in the knowledge that they personally could wipe out at least a square mile of real estate, would remain peaceful and polite, no matter what the situation?

That last one about the pentagon is great. Did you steal it? It's brilliant anyway. I'm not sure but you might be a better suited leader for the Silly Party or if not them perhaps the well respected Very Silly Party I bet you have already spoken with the Not So Silly Party and decided they aren't bold enough. ;D

Whoa, whoa, True Blue...
We won't be able to get that one past the Democrats unless we require a three-day waiting period, but don't worry - there'll be loopholes and a sunset provision.
Good thinking, though!

...I did write out a few paragraphs long-hand yesterday while I was picnicking at the river, but it's only first-draft quality. Tonight I'll post some "Position Papers" - I swear! This is a lot of positions for only one picnic Jay. I hope Mrs Jay got lucky and enjoyed them also. APPLAUSE ! BRAVO ! ENCORE ! APPLAUSE ! (take a bow) APPLAUSE ! (exit stage) Smiling faces all around.

Nope! I swiped the image from some math site, but everything else is mine. It took me a few posts to get revved up, but I finally got there. If I had more time for pleasure-writin' I'd fluff up the one about robots replacing us...there's potential for that one.
I'm trying to pump myself up to take a good hard swing at content for the web site.

On a more serious note:
"We seem to have a tie in terms of the vote for the title of the position."
How about "Deputy Coordinator?" It sounds a little wild-west-ish, but more dignified than Junior or Assistant.
On another serious note:
If we have to rub out anything should happen to POA, the party would be best served without me in a national leadership position. "Treasurer" is about as close as you want me to the limelight - and that's the opinion of several people who knew me in my heyday.
So...while I'm not withdrawing from the race (gotta' keep it interesting) I'm giving my official endorsement to Ropegun.

Jay I like "Deputy Coordinator" as well because it's more serious as a title than some of the other ones that I've seen in the vote.
