Likud leader compares Hamas’ election victory to Nazi’s rise to power in Germany. ‘No one will defend the Jews if they don’t defend themselves; a few days ago a new bitter enemy rose,’ he says

Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday compared the Hamas’ election victory to the Nazi’s rise to power in Germany.
Netanyahu spoke at Likud’s first election rally which was held at Netanya’s Park Hotel, where 30 people were killed in April 2002.
The former prime minister lashed out at Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, blaming the former Jerusalem mayor for Hamas’ election victory.
“Jews and Zionists did not believe the Holocaust would happen. When Zeev Jabotinsky rang the alarm bells they sidelined him as being too pessimistic. They did not believe and failed to get ready. The Jews had no means to survive and escape. No one will defend the Jews if they don’t defend themselves. A few days ago a new bitter enemy rose,” Netanyahu said. [Ah, Zionazi revisionist history. No, it was because of Zionazis like Jabotinsky and his British collegues wanting a Jewish state that German Jews ended up in the Holocaust.]
Netanyahu said he always warned that unilateral disengagements reward terror, adding that he hopes Olmert will stand for promises not to carry out unilateral disengagements, stop tax transfers to the Palestinian Authority, prevent Hamas from forming an army and step up pressure on Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to disarm Hamas.
Bibi lashed out at Olmert for allowing elections in Jerusalem, saying the move brought Hamas closer to the Jewish capital.
He disparaged Olmert as weak and inexperienced, saying Likud is experienced and will resist international pressure to make concessions to the Palestinian Authority.
