This is the best news of the day. Now let's hope there is a 'clear' and 'fair' majority either way and that vote tampering won't be able to change that majority. ABB'rs would say I'm crazy to hope for a Bush majority but at least it wouldn't be a complete repeat of 2000. This is also one of the step, just one, to restore democracy no ? I just told my 16 year old about the news and she asked why it pleased me. I told her my opinion and added, "At least, Americans and the world will know where they stand and what to expect." Her boyfriend replied: ''Yeah, war." "Yep, I said, that can be expected, either way." Some young kids are getting it. Good. From The Guardian article: Officials predicted a turnout of 117.5 million to 121 million people, the most ever and rivaling the 1960 election in the percentage of eligible voters going to the polls. Voters welcomed an end to the longest, most expensive election on record.
